Vice President Anderson Oil Company, Inc. C: 803-300-2404
After realizing I truly enjoy Small Business and Entrepreneurship, I decided to officially follow in my Father’s footsteps and join Anderson Oil Co 5 years ago. My previous experience is in Banking and Finance. I have spent many summer vacations at the SCACS conventions growing up and I’m proud to be an official member of SCACS.
I enjoy spending my free time at a local park with my daughters, biking with my family around town and other outdoor activities.
I am extremely excited to join the SCACS board and am looking forward to the opportunity to work with such a great organization.
I have worked for Reynolds American, Inc. formerly, R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, for 35 years. Of these 35 years, 25 of those years were in the South Carolina market. I graduated from Winthrop University where I met and married my wife, Tammy Estes, from Greenville, SC. Tammy and I have three children and one grandson. We all live in SC in the Charleston area.
Thank you for this great opportunity. I am looking forward to an exciting 2019.
Let’s welcome these new 2018 SCACS Board of Directors.
H.T. Hackney Co.
As a long time member of SCACS, I am very excited about contributing to a different level by joining the board. I came into this business over 20 years ago as the VP of Finance for a small grocery wholesaler. I was later moved into the position of VP of Operations (over shipping, receiving and IT for 3 warehouses), and eventually moved to the VP of Sales. With consolidation such a big part of our industry, that small grocery wholesaler was purchased by H.T. Hackney five years ago. As an employee of H.T. Hackney, I have been headquartered out of the Orangeburg, SC warehouse as their Sales Manager until about a year ago, when I accepted a role as the New Account Development Director for the East Region covering West Virginia, Virginia, North and South Carolina and Georgia. The parts of my job I have always enjoyed most are interacting with the people associated with this industry and problem-solving.
In my spare time I enjoy golf, college sports (especially Gamecock football and baseball) and spending time with friends and family I value greatly.
Grew up in Annapolis, MD where I worked for an AB Wholesaler with ambitions to eventually work for Anheuser-Busch. When I had the opportunity, I moved to Denver, CO to start my career with Anheuser-Busch as a Convenience Store Trade Marketing Lead. I then moved to Montana for District Manager experience, now I’m based in Greenville as a Key Account Manager. I couldn’t be happier in South Carolina! I’ve had the unique opportunity to work & live in some beautiful parts of the country, so I’m having a blast discovering South Carolina.
I’ve been in the beer business for +12yrs, +6 with AB, and the majority of the time focused on convenience stores. I understand the complexity of the business. I’m honored and excited to join such an organization as SCACS and I look forward to meeting the rest of the members.

Bountyland Quick Stop
I have been around the C-Store business my entire life. Growing up I always loved riding to the two or three stores with my dad every Saturday and any other days he would take me. Around age 10 I started working a few hours on the weekends ringing and cutting beer. At age 15 I started working shifts here and there on weekends, holidays and during the summer. After graduating from Clemson University in 2009, I started working as a full-time cashier at our original Bountyland Store. After about 18 months I moved to oversee our beer store “The Wall of Beer”. From 2009 on, I kept urging front office management to move our stores to scanning products in and out. Once I finally convinced them this was the correct move, it became my project and is what I spend the majority of my time doing for the company. Golf, Hunting, and Clemson Athletics take up the majority of my other time.

I also take part in a Study Group for our industry put on by David Nelson.
