SC Food Safety Force Meeting – food safety challenges of new and emerging food trends

Dear SCACS Members,

If you interested in the SC Food Safety Task Force Meetings with the subject on food safety challenges of new and emerging food trends, there will be a meeting on March 5th. The meeting starts at 10:00 am and will be held at the SCDA Philips Market Center at the State Farmer’s Market in West Columbia  (across from SCDA LAB) 117 Ballard Court, West Columbia SC 29172.

An agenda will be sent out soon but anticipate a presentation from Dr. Kimberly Baker with Clemson University’s Food2Market program.  Dr. Baker will be speaking about the food safety challenges of new and emerging food trends including products like nitrogen cold brew coffee, kombucha, etc.
